Young Couple Wed at Waverly

William G. Townsend and Miss Sybil Frances Hill, well known young people of Horton, were married in the Methodist church in Waverly last Wednesday morning at 10 o'clock by Rev. Wm. E. Johnson, pastor of the Plainfield Methodist church. Only the young couple who accompanied them were witnesses of the simple ceremony.

The groom is the son of Charles M. Townsend, a leading farmer of that vicinity, and the bride is the daughter of Edward R. Hill. Both families are prominent and many friends are interested in the wedding.

Mr. and Mrs. Townsend will make their home on the groom's farm near Plainfield.

The bride is a niece of Mr. and Mrs. W.A. Granger of this city and has many friends here who will extend congratulations.
